RICHMOND – The Virginia State Police, in partnership with supporting federal, state, and local agencies, conducted Operation Snow Eagle, a concerted criminal enforcement effort across the Commonwealth of Virginia, from February 23 through March 1, 2025. The operation achieved significant criminal interdictions, including felony arrests, the recovery of firearms, the seizure of narcotics, and the investigation of multiple crimes.
Operation Highlights
Total Arrests:
- 603 felony arrests and 136 misdemeanor arrests, including 134 fugitives.
- 28 probation/parole absconders
Total Search Warrants: 111
Total Interdiction Operations: 133
Total Fugitive Operations: 42
Total Narcotics Seizures:
- Total seized narcotics amounted to 419.49 pounds, along with 1,202 controlled substance pills.
- Denied revenue from seized narcotics: $11,564,523
